Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Build and maintain APIs and WebSockets for integration with internal and third-party systems
Design and structure databases to support efficient and scalable API communication
Maintain and optimize cloud-based backend infrastructure
Ensure HIPAA compliance and implement secure system architecture
Collaborate with frontend teams for API testing and validation
Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications
3–5+ years of experience with NestJS (core backend expertise required)
Strong proficiency in REST APIs and WebSockets
Proven experience building scalable APIs and robust data structures
Basic frontend knowledge for API validation and testing
Proficient in Python and Linux environments
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience in both web and mobile development
Hands-on experience with AWS
