Role Overview:
The Financial Data Integration Specialist will design, develop, and maintain secure financial data pipelines and integration frameworks that connect merchants, banks, and PayStream’s payment ecosystems. The role ensures data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and high performance across all financial data workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain real-time and batch financial data integration pipelines.
• Build secure API-based data exchange solutions between external partners and internal systems.
• Implement ETL/ELT processes to support analytics and fraud detection initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, AML, KYC, and financial data governance standards.
• Troubleshoot integration issues including data mapping, validation, and latency.
• Monitor pipeline performance and optimize for speed and reliability.
• Support client onboarding by configuring and testing payment integration setups.
• Maintain documentation for data schemas, workflows, and change tracking.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial data integrations, ETL/ELT, or API-driven systems.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar databases.
• Experience with ETL tools (Airflow, dbt, Talend, etc.).
• Understanding of ISO 20022, SWIFT, or NACHA financial data standards.
• Experience working with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong analytical and documentation abilities.
