Role Overview:
As an EV Charging Infrastructure Engineer, you will lead the technical design, deployment, and performance optimization of DC fast-charging and Level 2 charging stations across urban and commercial locations. Your work will directly support fleet electrification and smart city energy initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement EV charging station layouts and electrical connections.
• Oversee installation of DC fast chargers and smart charging systems.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and grid requirements.
• Collaborate with utilities to manage load balancing and power distribution.
• Optimize charger uptime, efficiency, and maintenance workflows.
• Support site assessments, technical documentation, and commissioning activities.
• Troubleshoot charger faults and system performance issues.
• Contribute to infrastructure scaling and expansion strategies.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Energy Systems.
• 5–8 years of experience with EV charging or power infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of DC fast charging, AC charging, and grid integration.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards and smart energy controls.
• Experience working with utilities, contractors, and city authorities.
• Excellent problem-solving and technical coordination skills.
