Role Overview:
The Shipper/Receiver / Tow Motor Operator is responsible for safely operating tow motors and skid steer equipment to receive, prepare, load, and ship goods accurately and on time while following all safety and quality procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate tow motor and skid steer equipment safely
Load and unload trailers and trucks efficiently
Verify shipment counts and Bills of Lading (BOLs)
Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage or non-conformance
Complete daily equipment checklists
Follow warehouse, dock safety, and health & safety procedures
Report hazards, incidents, and equipment issues to supervisors
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Use required PPE at all times
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors
Qualifications:
High school diploma
Valid tow motor permit
Skid steer driving experience
Basic math skills
Experience with inventory management systems or scanning devices
Strong organization and communication skills
Team-oriented and self-motivated
