    Role Overview:
    Trust Accountants at IFDS are responsible for managing trust accounts for multiple clients and ensuring all trust-related accounting activities are completed in compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Review and reconcile daily cash activity in trust and commission bank accounts
    Balance incoming and outgoing cash against processed transactions
    Reconcile commissions, dividends, trailer fees, and distributions
    Calculate amounts and prepare reporting letters for fund custodians and clients
    Prepare, mail, or wire payment cheques
    Liaise with Operations teams, State Street Bank, custodian banks, clients, and broker/dealers
    Analyze reports to identify exceptions and resolve discrepancies
    Enter cash, transfer, and other transactions using automated systems
    Maintain accurate files, records, and reports
