Role Overview
The Bricklayer is responsible for constructing, repairing, and restoring masonry structures using bricks, concrete blocks, stone, and similar materials while working safely in physically demanding environments.

Schedule & Working Hours
32 to 40 hours per week
Day shifts
Overtime available

Compensation
Hourly wage ranging from $39.47 to $43.85 per hour, with financial benefits provided as per the collective agreement.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, and masonry units
Lay bricks or stone for veneer and structural facing
Cut and trim masonry materials using hand and power tools
Work safely at heights using scaffolding or swing stages
Restore, clean, or paint existing masonry structures

Education & Certifications
Registered Apprenticeship Certificate or equivalent experience is required. Bricklayer Trade Certification, Bricklayer Red Seal Certificate, WHMIS Certification, First Aid Certificate, and Fall Arrest Protection Training are required or preferred.

Tools & Equipment
Candidates must have their own tools and personal protective equipment including steel-toed safety boots and a hard hat.

Security & Safety Requirements
Basic security clearance is required, along with strict adherence to workplace safety standards.

Physical Requirements
This role is physically demanding and requires handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling, and working in challenging construction environments.
