Role Overview
Vancouver Whitecaps FC is seeking a strategic and operational leader for the role of Director, Information Technology. This position is responsible for the overall leadership and administration of the Club’s IT infrastructure, equipment, support services, network/systems administration.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery and operation of core IT services including compute, storage, virtualization (VMware), cloud infrastructure, SaaS platforms
  • Oversee the IT Service Desk and coordinate onboarding/offboarding processes with People & Culture
  • Mentor and develop the Coordinator, IT, fostering a high-performance, customer-focused culture

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience designing, building, and managing enterprise IT infrastructure

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional projects

  • Excellent communication, project management, and interpersonal skills


Shift

Full-time, remote / flexible hours including evenings or weekends as required


Compensation

Salary: $100,000 – $110,000 per year (DOE – Canada)
Salary Type: Yearly

Collaborative and high-performance IT leadership role in a professional sports environment. The Director, IT will oversee technical operations, infrastructure projects, and governance initiatives while supporting a secure, scalable, and efficient technology environment for the Club’s staff, players, and facilities.
