Position Summary
The Returns & Claims Clerk is responsible for handling shipment discrepancies, processing credits, liaising with warehouses and carriers, and ensuring timely and accurate customer service. This role requires strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Investigate and resolve order discrepancies, including missing, delayed, or damaged shipments.
Process transportation-related claims and credits efficiently.
Serve as main liaison between warehouses, carriers, and internal departments.
Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for management.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operational workflows.
Communicate with clients, partners, and internal teams in English and French.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (College/University degree an asset).
1–3 years experience in accounting, logistics, supply chain, or data entry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; ERP experience preferred (Infor M3 is an asset).
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
Fluent in English; French is an asset.
