Role Overview
MDPI is seeking a Marketing Assistant to support its North American marketing initiatives. This entry-level, full-time, in-office role focuses on digital marketing campaigns, event coordination, and promoting academic publishing services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on industry trends and competitors to inform marketing strategies
- Analyze campaign data, identify trends, and generate actionable reports
- Coordinate promotional events, author training sessions, and workshops at universities and institutions
- Represent MDPI at academic conferences, managing booth setup and on-site operations
- Assist managers in implementing new marketing initiatives and projects
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline (Master’s preferred)

1–2 years of relevant marketing experience

Proficiency in digital marketing tools and strategies
Ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic, international environment

Full-time, Remote; standard business hours
Compensation
Salary: $48,000–$50,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications
Salary Type: Yearly
Work Environment
Office-based in North York with convenient access to the Yonge-Sheppard TTC station, Collaborative and international marketing team, Hands-on training during the first six months, supervised by an assigned tutor, Opportunities for career growth and potential travel to other MDPI offices.
