Role Overview

SYSTRA Canada is seeking a skilled Graphic Designer/Illustrator to support the ALTO project, a major Canadian infrastructure initiative developing over 1,000 km of new passenger rail service. The role involves producing visual materials and illustrations, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring consistent application of the project’s visual identity.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project design teams to identify graphic needs and organize production.

• Design and adapt graphic assets (posters, brochures, presentation templates, web visuals, infographics).

• Produce flat-vector icons and detailed illustrations as needed.

• Enhance and refine design documents for visual clarity and appeal.

• Work with cartography teams to ensure alignment of graphic and map outputs.

Qualifications

• Degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.

• Broad graphic design skills with strong illustration and vector drawing abilities.

• Experience creating icons, flat-design elements, and intricate pictograms.
