We’re looking for a Social Media Intern to help drive Dark Heaven’s digital presence, with a strong focus on TikTok and YouTube. This role centers on editing and scheduling daily short-form video content, primarily sourced from KALEIDOSCOPE, record label releases, and event footage.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and schedule daily short-form videos for TikTok and YouTube (Shorts), and other social media platforms
- Create content from:
- KALEIDOSCOPE video mix series
- Record label releases
- Event footage
- Experiment with:
- Cuts, pacing, and visual rhythm
- Hooks, captions, and platform-specific formats
What We’re Looking For
- Solid understanding of TikTok and YouTube short-form content
- Passion in developing social media campaigns and tracking metrics for growth
- Strong interest in techno, house, and electronic music
- Experience editing video (CapCut, Premiere Pro, etc.)
- Graphic design skills are a huge plus (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
- Creative instincts with a willingness to experiment and iterate
- Organized and consistent with daily posting schedules
- Chicago-based (preferred)
Bonus (Not Required):
- Experience growing a music or culture-focused social account
- Motion graphics or visual effects experience
- Active on Reddit (huge plus)
