About the Role
This 12-week internship offers hands-on experience working as a Software Engineering partner at Airbnb. Interns will own a capstone project from start to finish while collaborating with cross-functional teams to build impactful technology that supports connection, belonging, and travel.

What You’ll Do

Own and deliver a capstone engineering project end-to-end
Write, test, and debug production-quality code
Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and team meetings
Collaborate with engineers, mentors, and stakeholders
Incorporate feedback and iterate on solutions
Contribute ideas and actively engage in intern workshops and community events

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (graduation expected Dec 2026 – Jun 2027)
Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, design patterns)
Experience with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, C++, Python, SQL, Swift, Kotlin, Ruby)
Ability to use AI tools responsibly while independently writing and explaining code
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Authorization to work in the U.S. (visa sponsorship not available)
